She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Dove and Mary Dove; her siblings, Inez and Jack; her fiancé Clyde Welch; her children, Dave, Ken (Chris) and Shyla (Bryce Lefever); her grandchildren, Reid, Jordan, Madison and Jake; and her great grandchildren, Alice, Emmett and Bronwyn.

Thanks to her parents, her early life was filled with church, Sunday school, and the creation of a firm Christian foundation that she nurtured throughout her life.
