She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Benes and Ellen Benes (Anderson); her husband John Michel; her siblings, Wilma Benes Bustell, Jay Benes and Robert Benes of Lewistown; her sons, Roger Michel (Karole) of Billings and Gerald Michel (Bridget) of Helena; her grandchildren, Eric Michel (Georgia), Alexander Michel (Leah) and Bethanie Ballenski (Timothy); and her great grandchildren, John, Honória, Wesley, Miles, Turner, Desmond and Jack.

Memorials may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church or School.
