He was predeceased by: his mother Catherine Adele Lee Conter; his uncle James Lee; his grandparents, Lawson Lee, Mary Burns Lee, John Conter and Claire Laumeister Conter; and his cousins, Mary Lou and Candace.
He is survived by: his father Dan Conter; his stepmother Kathleen Galleher Conter; his sister Keri Conter (Ken Streacker); his goddaughter Elise Conter; his stepsiblings, Megan Vance Ochs (Brian) and Garrett Vance (Jennifer); his daughter Abby Conter; and his aunts and uncles, Patricia Lee McCoy (Alvin), Connie Lee, Mike Lee, Tim Conter (Nancy), Kathy Conter Jehowski (Dean) and Patty Galleher Cavin (Alan). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
