He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lawson and Phyllis Lawson (Goettle); and his sister Michelle Collins. He is survived by: his wife Kris Sanford; his sons, Matthew and Mitchell Lawson (Bridgett); his siblings, Vic (Joanne), Darwin (Nancy), Tim (Esther), Ryan Lawson, Jann Stoltz, Cindy Wetsch (Dave), Roxanne Lawson and Melodi Lawson-Sanderlin (Dan); and his grandson Joey (Mitch). He is also survived by 21 nieces and nephews and 36 great nieces and nephews.
