He was predeceased by: his mother Nina Opsal; and his parents-in-law, Eilene Dullum and Roy Dullum. He is survived by: his father Art Opsal; his wife Cyndy Opsal; his daughter Charise Smith (Mark); his grandchildren, Alexis, Tyler, Jorin Smith and Kya Cochran (Shaun); his great grandchildren, Wilder and Evryn; his son Aaron Opsal; his grandchildren, Isabel and Oliver; his siblings, Al Opsal, Erv Opsal (Sue) and Ellen Berg; his grandchild Teagin Smith; his siblings-in-law, Evie Opsal and Steve Berg; and his nephew Sheldon Berg. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and great friends.
A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (537 Grand Ave, Billings, MT 59102).
