Cherie (Lyda) Bauwens Obituary
The memory of Cherie (Lyda) Bauwens (Billings, Montana), who passed away on November 28, 2024 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Lyda and Olive Lyda (Brottem); her husband Roger; her siblings, Stuart, Merle, Gene, Claire Lyda and Darlene Tietz; and her granddaughter Lindsay Draper.
She is survived by: her siblings-in-law, Maris Bauwens of Columbus, Mary Tucker of Bridger, Jodi Bauwens of Fromberg, JoAnne Lyda of Bryan, TX, Ruth Lyda of Laramie, WY, Barbara Lyda of Milwaukee, WI and Dirk Bauwens (Cathy) of Billings; her cousin Bette Stone (Mike) of Perham, MN.; her children, Amy Ammons (Greg) of Cheney, WA, Russ Bauwens of Billings, MT and Sandy Bauwens of Fromberg, MT; her great grandchildren, Stacey Marciniak (Tom) of Chicago, IL, Jonathan Bauwens (Taryn) of Springdale, AR and April Webb (Shawn) of Billings, MT; her son Memphis (Colton Bauwens); and also, Henry, Dameon, Aubrey and Preston. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fromberg United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Fromberg Methodist Church or Valley Senior Citizens.
