He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Louise Thompson and Alpheus Nimrod Thompson; his stepfather Clarence Strong; and his siblings, Alpheus Nimrod Thompson II and Mary Leona Uloth.
He is survived by: his wife Loraine Kinley; his children, Leo Thompson (Darcy), Shari Wass (Brian), Frank Thompson (Sherry) and Lori Elwell (Dan); and his siblings, Clarence Strong and Ruthann Strong. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
