He was predeceased by: his parents, Sverre Oiestad and Kari Oiestad (Ronneberg). He is survived by: his wife Helen Fausett; his children, Guthrie Oiestad (Alanna) and Calli Michaels (Russell); his grandsons, Wesley, Haakon and Markus; and his siblings, Marit Bridger (Leonard), Sissel Selvig (Jerry), John Oiestad (Shari), Kenneth Oiestad (Jackie) and H. Steven Oiestad.
