He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Jones; his children, Jaleen Purcell (Kristine Whitaker) and Cheryl Quinn (Brandon); his grandchildren, McKinsey Ranere (Trevor), Jaden Quinn, Kiley Quinn (Chandler Jorgenson) and Joshua Quinn; his daughter Amy Bockness (John); his grandchildren, Ashley Purcell (Heath Anderson), Alliah Bockness, Beau Bockness, Jarin Bockness, Joelon Bockness, Javon Bockness, Avenli Bockness and Jeremy Purcell (Amy); his great grandchildren, Cole Brow, Samuel Podlak, Abby Purcell, Nicholas Purcell and Noah Purcell; his granddaughter Pamela Wardell (Jason); his great grandchildren, Ethan Wardell, Justin Wardell, Ashtyn Wardell, Summer Purcell, Arayah Purcell, Adrienne Anderson (Ashley Purcell), Beckham Jorgenson (Kiley Quinn) and Ranere Baby; and his sister Sheila O'Connell.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (1210 E 2nd Ave, Big Timber, MT 59011).
Don was always willing to drop what he was doing and help a person in need, Don knew no strangers and was a true example of Christlike charity.
