She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Carter and Evon Carter (Fox); her brothers, Max, Chuck, Lawrence and Duane; her nephews, Larry and Jerry Patnoe; her niece Mary Ann Addison; and her siblings-in-law, Wayne Bassett, Don Spaulding, Butch Helkenn and Phyllis Spaulding.
She is survived by: her husband Charlie Bassett of Big Timber; her stepson Lance Bassett (Cheri); her grandsons, Tyler and Kasey of Scottsdale, AZ; her stepdaughter Laura of Phoenix, AZ; her siblings, Bob (Gail) of Holmen, WI, Betty (Rolland) of Sundance, WY and Mary Addison (Dan) of Philip, SD; and her sisters-in-law, Gloria Carter of Faribault, MN and Lucy Bassett of Helena. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to St. Joseph's Parish, Hearts and Hands Hospice, the Arthritis Foundation or the charity of one's choice.
