He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfonzo Vega and Elizabeth Vega (McDonald); his children, Kimberly and John; and his sisters, Mercedes McChesney, Sue Fagliano and Vinnie Peal.
He is survived by: his great grandchild Brydan; his wife Carol Cunningham; his daughter Stacy Hoadley (Rick); his grandchildren, Tasha Fox, Coy Putra (Morgan), Donnie Putra (Yajaira), Ashley Segna (Dave) and Michael Biers III (Nichole); and his sisters, Christina Patritti, Theresa Olson and Elizabeth Simonich. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Butte Emergency Food Bank or the Butte Central Education Fund.
