He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter and Carrie; and his siblings, Florence Culhane, Anna Whetham, Alfreda Patera, Stella Lamb, Betty Cossairt, Fred, Alfred and Howard.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Schepp Rice; and his children, Gaylen, Joy Pogones (John), Georgia Kay Tyler (Bob) and Brenda Kirchhamer (Tom). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
