We are sad to announce that on September 30, 2022, at the age of 85, Edward Mattew Nevala of Belt, Montana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Nevala and Annie Nevala (Gliko); his brother Raymond Nevala; and his sisters-in-law, Corrine Nevala and Debra Nevala.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Andy and Katie; his wife Barbara McNorton; his children, Cynthia Leary (Thomas) of Peoria, AZ and Glen Nevala (Tammy) of Kasson, MN; his brother Kenneth Nevala of Great Falls; his grandchildren, Shawn Nevala (Sianna) of Las Vegas, Andrew Nevala (Kaetlen) of Havre, Kaitlin Leary-Ziemer (Matthew) of San Francisco and Sean Leary of Champions Gate, FL.; and his great grandchild Lukas Nevala.
Should one be inclined, the family requests donations be made to St. Mark's Catholic Church or the Belt Fire Department.
