It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Jean Balke of Belgrade, Montana, born in Ennis, Montana, who passed away on September 20, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hughes and Mildred Hughes (Wingate); her husband Jim; her brothers, John Raymond Hughes and Donald Hughes; and her grandchildren, Jeremy Sikkenga and Erin Bright Runner.
She is survived by: her children, Shirley Kammers (Bob), Kathy Balke (Josh Schaper), Sue Robbins (Bruce), Beverly Sikkenga, John Sikkenga (Sheila), Joe Bright (Cheryl) and Rob Balke (Cody).
