He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Schloss and Eva Schloss; his sister Agnes Malory; and his sister-in-law Lucille Schloss. He is survived by: his wife Sheri Schloss; his daughters, Susan Ann Schloss of Billings, Yvonne Marie Carr (Joe) of Miles City and Carol Jean Schloss of Bozeman; his grandchildren, Markus Klewin, Mason Klewin of Bozeman, Julianna Carr and Louisa Carr of Miles City; and his siblings, Dennis Schloss (Sheila) of Dickinson, ND, Art Schloss of Napoleon, ND, Diane Schloss of Dickinson and Rita Schloss of Dickinson, ND. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
