She was predeceased by: her parents, Enos Erb and Beatrice Macer Erb; her husband Victor Bruski; her siblings, Margaret Rhodes, Eloise McClain, Geraldine Cleveland (Deanie), Audrey Erb and Don Erb; her son-in-law Tom Powers; and her grandson Christopher Powers.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Virginia (Ginny), Gail Powers, Wayne Bruski (Shelly) and Carol Capp (Wayne); her sister Bette Dennison; and her sisters-in-law, Sharon Erb, Diane Schmitz and Vivian Bruski. She is also survived by her four children, 15 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Velma's memory can be made to the Huntley Project Museum, Friends of Pompey's Pillar, or a local food bank.
