He was predeceased by: his mother Florence Sampson (Knapp); his brother Howard Sampson (Gwen); and his parents-in-law, Rueben "Pete" Maier and Ella Loewen Maier. He is survived by: his wife Rose Maier; his children, Jeff Sampson of Bismarck, ND and Jodi Henderson (Brian) of Lewistown, MT; his grandsons, Cody Henderson of Daytona Beach, FL and Jake Henderson of Lewistown, MT; his brother Ken Sampson of Kalispell, MT; and his siblings-in-law, Gloria Zmuda (Denny) of Maumee, OH and Mike Maier (Cindy) of Rapid City, SD. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews, nieces.
