He is survived by: his wife MaryAnn; his daughters, Connie Armstrong (Mike) of Dickinson and Beverly Herman (Tom) of Bismarck; his grandchildren, Scott Meschke (Tammy), Carri Jung (Tyson), Kelly Armstrong (Kjersti), Mitchell Armstrong (Teryl), Jackson Armstrong, Sara Hamilton (Steve), Kristin Noonan (Nick) and Tom Herman (Toni); and his siblings, Wayne Malarchick of Glendive, MT and Janet Fugere of Gillette, WY..

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Patrick's Church.
