He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gill and Grace Gill of Butte, MT.; his siblings, James Gill, Whalon Gill and Madge Savage; and his son John Robert Gill.
He is survived by: his wife Diana L. Smith; his children, Roland C. Gill (Jan) of Jackson, TN, Terrance Gill (DeMaris) of Sheboygan, WI and Carol Jo Whitehead (Darren) of Arlington, TX; and his grandchildren, Ryan Gill, Renita Hackney, Emmalee Denlinger, Jonathan Whitehead and Christopher Whitehead. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
