He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuel "Bob" Varner and Marguerite Varner (Crawford); his son Timothy; his sister Gloria Boggs; and his brother-in-law Jim Karch.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Bilges; his children, Doug Varner (Rosanne), Jeff Varner (Jodi) and Kandi Stapleton (Dave); his grandchildren, Zach Varner (Tessa), Brady Varner and Dustin Varner; his great grandchildren, Aidyn and Kira Varner; his stepgrandchildren, Candi, Daniel, Andrew Stapleton, Morgan, Mariah, Billie Jo and Johnny Miller; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Bradley, Zachary, Wesley Wright and Nixon Stapleton; and his sister Marlene Karch. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family would like a charitable donation be made to Fallon Medical Complex.
