“Norman cared for our land in Baker for many years. I was 8 yrs. old when my sister, Laura & our parents, John & Beverly Payne took a trip there to bury my grandfather's ashes (Archie Payne) on his land there. We stayed with the Langs, Norman, Viola & their sons, Stanley & Jerry. They lovingly opened their home to us & treated us with great hospitality! Wonderful food, warm beds, riding horses & even attending their one room schoolhouse. Norman was like family to us. I remember him so fondly!💕”
