He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Kostelecky and Agnes Kostelecky (Urbanec); his wife Edith Kralicek; his son Harlan; his grandson Sean; and his sister Lillian.
He is survived by: his grandchild Jamie; his daughter Jamie Armitage (Greg) of Killdeer; his daughter-in-law Kristy Cross (Neil); his grandchildren, Christopher Kostelecky (Tera), Jennifer Grover (Brandon), Holly Schmidt (Brad) of Manning and Josh Armitage (Markie) of Dickinson; his brother Don Kostelecky; and his sister-in-law Josie Kralicek of Dickinson. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
