He was predeceased by: his son Randall Hecker; and his father-in-law Paul Berger. He is survived by: his wife Janet; his children, Jolene Koskovich (Dickinson), Judy Newton (Dan) of Colorado Springs, CO, Colin Hecker (Dickinson) and Cindi Hecker (Dickinson); and his grandchildren, Jacob, Catilyn, Lance, Danny (Newt), Ali, Timmy, Natasha, Thomas, Chase, Gabrielle, Dartagan, Marilyn and Victoria. He is also survived by six brothers and one sister.
