He was predeceased by: his brothers, Lyle, Merlin Dale and Robert Neal Stanhope; his siblings-in-law, Walt Hanratty, Joann and Mary Lou Stanhope; and his great grandchild Wilder Tescher.
He is survived by: his son Robert W. Stanhope (Kristie); his wife Elaine Williams (Maychrzak); his children, Steve Stanhope (Julie), Curt Williams, Barbara Stanhope and Lora Ketterling (Kent); his grandchildren, Lauren Celander (Josh), Lisa Cavedo (Samuel), Lexi Stanhope, Tanner Fischer, Jamie Tescher (Ty), Nate Stanhope (Val), Kalli Allen (Jeff), Blake Stanhope (Rachel), Chase Ketterling (Anna), Trace Ketterling and Kayla Ketterling; his great grandchildren, Logan, Bentlee, Maddex, Callahan, Walker Ash Stanhope, Olivia, Hadley Allen and Aurora Celander; and his siblings, Jean Hanratty, J. C. Stanhope, Roger Stanhope (Judy) and Lane Stanhope (Robin).
