It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Payton Alexander Mays in Arlee, Montana, born in Pablo, Montana, who passed away on December 15, 2023, at the age of 17, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Daniel Alexander Mays; his grandparents, David "Gene" Mays and Sophie Quequesah Mays; and his tupyes, Alice Gardipe (Morigeau), Raymond Gardipe Sr., Agnes "Virg" Charlo (Asencio) and Louis B. "Johnny" Charlo.
He is survived by: his mother Evelyn Charlo of Arlee, MT.; his grandparents, Cleo Kenmille and Bob Wynne; and his sister Sassy. He is also survived by many cousins, great aunts and uncles.
