We are sad to announce that on July 22, 2023, at the age of 97, William Raymond Matthew of Anaconda, Montana, born in Pierre, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Oral and Susie Matthew (Moffatt); his wife Dorothy Bliss of Scranton; his siblings, Kenneth, Edward and Vernice Christian; his parents-in-law, Irvin Bliss and Esther Bliss (Ottow); his siblings-in-law, David Bliss, Ralph Bliss, David Ensign and Clara Bliss; his nephew Lyle Bliss; and his friends, Herb McCauley, Donny Cameron, Bo Clark, Hans Sylling and Stu Ellison.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Solberg (Duane) and Roger Matthew (Susan Reisch); his grandchildren, Jessica Anderson (Chris), Emilie Solberg (Billy Hendrickson) and Jesse Matthew; his great grandchildren, Bryer and Jase Anderson; and his siblings-in-law, Loren Christian, Sharon Bliss, Ruth Newcomer and Leona Ensign.
