It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Elbert (Anaconda, Montana), born in Miles City, Montana, who passed away on March 28, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Elbert and Phoebe Gerhard Elbert; his wife Beverly Jean Richey; his sister Myra Sollars; his niece Sally Neumiller; and his granddaughter Tifanee Elbert.

He is survived by: his children, Jim and Jean (Michael Bolkovatz); his sister Patricia Magnuson; and his grandchildren, Skye Mize, Austin Elbert and Lauren Bolkovatz.

Memorial donations may be directed to Anaconda Legion Baseball, Anaconda Pintler Hospice or Hospice of Spokane.

My memory of Doc was pitching to him at Washoe Park to work on my delivery and curve ball and being treated for a sore pitching shoulder with ultrasound in his office on East Park.
