He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Schimming and Florence Schimming (Percin); his grandparents, Frank, Angela, Matt Percin, Bill and Julia Schimming; his siblings, Raymond, John, Matt and Rita Lee; his brother-in-law Tom Lee; and his niece Nicole Miranda.
He is survived by: his spouse Shannon Gallinger; his siblings, James and Lorraine Schimming Evans; his sisters-in-law, Roseanne Schimming and Linda Schimming; and his children, Amanda Marry, Phillip Weist, Hollie Petersen (Shane) and Bennett Gallinger (Kortney). He is also survived by his three granddaughters, six grandsons, three great grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews.
