We are sad to announce that on December 9, 2019 we had to say goodbye to Norman V. Bohrnsen (Anaconda, Montana), born in Philipsburg, Montana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Bohrnsen and Ruth Bohrnsen; his brothers, Raymond Rau, Johnny Bohrnsen and Edward Bohrnsen; his wife Coreene Bohrnsen; and his grandson Kyle Geoffrey Bohrnsen.

He is survived by: his children, Martha Bohrnsen-Brandon and Geoffrey Bohrnsen (Lisa); his grandchildren, Heather Holloway (Dana), Eric Brandon and Danielle Bohrnsen; his great grandchild Drayson Holloway; and his friend Gary Kamps.

For those wishing to make a donation, the family suggests the Philipsburg Area Educational Foundation, the Philipsburg Library, or the Butte Compassus Hospice.

“Dear geoff, lisa,martha and family, we are sorry to hear about your dad. Joe and i liked your dad very much. He was always very nice to both of us. Joe told me a story how your dad and mom lived across the creek. Joe would be hauling some logs by their house. Your dad and mom would be sitting out on the front porch so joe would stop and go visit with them. Your dad was a very hard worker and greatly respected. He will be missed. I am sorry we have lost so many old timers on the creek.”
