He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Sturm and Dorothy Sturm; his son Greg Sturm; his sister Kathy Sturm; and his in-laws, Mildred and Walter Struble.
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Tina and Kris Kish; his wife Tammy Sturm (Kish); his son Brandon Sturm; his siblings, Ron Sturm (Gloria), Bob Sturm (Bernie), Larry Sturm (Trudy), Janet Box, Donna Kostelecky (Cal) and John Sturm (Vicky); and his in-laws, Linda Beckett (Tom) and Jim Kish (Millie). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and several close friends.
