He is survived by: his children, Gerald Johnston (Mary), Arlene Karmil (Rob), Carol Clarke of James and Bonnie Kettells (Tom); and his grandchildren, Chris Johnston (Jodie), Kevin Clarke (Sophie Ceneray), Jeremy Johnston (Kailey), Joshua Johnston, Stacy Clarke (Jesse Bommarito), Shannon Kettells and Tommy Kettles. He is also survived by five great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
