It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald C. Schroeder (Anaconda, Montana), who passed away on April 22, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clara Schroeder and Henry Schroeder; his son Dee Schroeder; his sisters, Betty Meschke and Elsie Shelton; his son-in-law Mark Metesh; and his grandson Bradley Engle.
He is survived by: his daughters, Dareen Byler (Jim), Danielle Larsen (Dale), Daralee Schroeder (David King) and Doris Metesh; and his siblings, Tom Schroeder (Leilani), Judy Wise and Jean Monaco. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great-great grandson as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Don donated his body to science and requested that his ashes be scattered in the valley he called home where I am certain we will hear his whisper, as he was so fond of saying.
