He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Hart and Margie Hart (Koch); his parents-in-law, Sally and Tiny Longfellow; and his grandson Jonathan Frank.
He is survived by: his friends, Pat Zier and Kay Keele; his son Kevin; his close friend Tippy; his wife Kathy Hart; his children, Sandy Frank (Les), Donna Miller (Dale) and Mike Hart (Laura); his grandchildren, Matthew Frank (Ashley), Nick Miller (Nicki), Peter Hart, Katie Magnus (Jake) and Nicole Bellon (Matt); and his great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Frank, Dylan Smith, Scott Frank, Sophie Magnus, Piper Magnus, Everly Hart, Selika McGlynn, Payton McGIynn, Kaydon Strutzel, Mayson Strutzel and Abby Bellon.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, 5705 Grant Creek, Missoula, MT 59808 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
