It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laverne Yates (Absarokee, Montana), who passed away on December 18, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Grover Jopp and Isabella Jopp; her husband Marlin R. Yates; her children, Montgomery K. Yates, Ross Yates (Karla) of Minot, ND and Stephanie Prather (Stuart) of Arvada, CO; her daughter-in-law Joan Yates (late Monte) of Edmonton; her grandchildren, Shane Yates (Amy) of Fargo, ND, Brandon Yates of Minot, ND, Amber Minton (Sam) of Minot, ND, Jill Devries (Jeff), Lisa Peters (Kevin) and Alb; and her sisters, Jacque Weyhe of Medford, OR and Joyce Just of Sunnyvale, California..
