He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Evans and Violet Evans (Edwards); and his siblings, Jerry Evans, Edwin "Pete" Evans and Betty Lou Pendland.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Elizabeth Lehman; his daughters, Pennie Harcsa (Ric) and Sherry Doerschel (Frank Clouse); his siblings, Bob Evans (Jeanie) and Marilyn Pendland; his grandchildren, Harmonie Harcsa-Segura (Jason), Shasta Jensen (Shane), Drew Harcsa (Jana DeSaveur), Kristie Bower (Rusty), Chantel Lohof (Charlie) and Heather Milton (Jared Smith); and his great grandchildren, Dykoda, Chyann, Haley, Tymber, Rowdy, Violet, Gauge, Dylan, Alyssa, Gracie, Audrie and Theodore.
