It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Broadaway (Yazoo City, Mississippi), who passed away on February 20, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph of Yazoo County and Broadaway, Sr. of Yazoo County; his wife Madeline Fulgham Broadaway; his brother David Broadaway; and also Lucy Neely of Yazoo County.

He is survived by: his children, Andrea B. Cohen (Brad) of West Point, MS, Pam P. Davis of Yazoo City, Lisa P. Miller (Jimmy) of Madison, MS, Larry V. Merrell, Sr. (Mary Yvonne) of Yazoo City and Curtis F. Merrell of Yazoo City; and his sisters, Mary Katherine Johnston (Travis) of Yazoo City and Ann Emery (Ernie) of Memphis, TN.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 10 great- grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
