He was predeceased by: his mother Annie Mae Havard Sumrall; his wife Bettye McCurley Sumrall; his father William David Sumrall, Sr.; and his siblings, Nelda Elaine Ritter, Glenda Gayle Larson and Douglas Wayne Sumrall.
He is survived by: his children, Dr. William David Sumrall and Rebecca Delatte (Donnie); his grandchildren, William, Hutson, Sarah Sumrall, Caroline and Cole Delatte; his nephews, Tab and Wes Barbay; his niece Jennifer Hebert; his sister-in-law Gloria Hebert; and his nephews, James, Bud and Bob Herrington.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Woodville Baptist Church (264 Natchez St S, Woodville, MS 39669). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
