He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Claude Cavin and Evelyn Netterville Cavin; his wife Edna Cavin; and his brothers, Claude Cavin, Clyde Cavin and Ned Cavin.
He is survived by: his children, Justin Cavin, Austin Cavin (Patsy), Edwin Cavin (Sandi), Mark Cavin (Cheryl), Yvonne Eidt and Kay Norman (Jack); and his sister Ollie Phipps. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and thirty great-grandchildren.
