He was predeceased by: his wife Ella Mae Veal; and his siblings, Monroe Veal, Abraham Veal, Albert Veal and Lula Veal.
He is survived by: his siblings, Margaret V. Gaskin, Cinderelle Tolliver of Baton Rouge and Jesse J Veal (Irene) of Woodville; his aunt Oceal Stewart of Woodville; and his siblings-in-law, Morrea Veal, Connie Veal of New Orleans, Nathaniel Montgomery, Frank Montgomery (Jennetta) and Sam Montgomery of Baton Rouge. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
