He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldridge Griffin and Margaret Cook Griffin; his brothers, Troy Griffin, Travis Griffin and Ray Griffin; and his grandson Christopher Thomas Scott.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Jennings Griffin; his daughters, Tammy Inman (Edward) of Vardaman and Carla Shankle (Bit) of Houston; his grandchildren, Kenneth Scott (Erica), Jordan Inman (Ashley), Brooke Shankle and Blake Shankle (Crystal); and his great grandchildren, Tate Scott, Kyleigh Scott, Laden Scott and Mallie Shankle.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the Amity Baptist Church Building Fund or the Amity Cemetery Fund.
