She was predeceased by: her parents, P. F. Rushing and Maxine Rushing; her grandparents, Shelby, Connie Rushing, Charlie and Naomi Bowen; and her siblings, Evelyn Rushing Holmes, Mickey Rushing and Ronnie Rushing.
She is survived by: her daughter Debbie Childress Jobe (Terry); her sister Sandra Rushing Ballard; her nieces, Tammy Holmes Goode (Rick), Karen Holmes Perullo and Rhonda Ballard Boles (Russell); and her nephew Keith Rushing (Wendy). She is also survived by 6 great nieces and nephews.
