It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mareece Gipson Johnson of Winona, Mississippi, born in Stewart, Mississippi, who passed away on August 21, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Reese Marion and Onie Lee Simpson Gipson; her husband Wade Lydell Johnson Jr.; her children, Jerry Lamar Mitchell and Brenda Kay Mitchell; her siblings, Bennie Pearson and Bobby Glynn Gipson; and her great grandchild Lucas Wade Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Patsy Johnson Cade (Bill), Phillip Lydell "Phil" Johnson Sr. and Kenneth Wade Johnson; her sister Faye Breazeale of Winona; her grandchildren, Terri Jewett, Phillip Lydell Johnson Jr., Scott Johnson (April), Lauren Mareece Cummings, William "Tripp" Cade III, Aden Dodd, Jasmine Johnson, Jaden Johnson, Jordan Johnson and Jada Johnson; her great grandchildren, Laken Stallworth, Chase Stallworth, Dylan Johnson, Blakely Mareece Wright and Grayson Johnson; and her great great grandchild Adeline Flowers. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
