He is survived by: his wife Debbie Lynn Nix of Winona; his sons, Jimmy Doyle Nix (Dorice) of Winona and David Leon Nix of Winona; and his siblings, Katie Upton of Brookhaven, Don Nix of Winona and Barry Nix of Duck Hill. He is also survived by five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.
