James Raymond Doss Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Raymond Doss of Winona, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 14, 2025 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Doss and Essie McDowell Doss; his daughters, Audrey Hopson, Tula Reid Vance, Etheleene Thomas, Geniva Walls McCafferty, Minnie Franklin, Jimmie Leek Pendergrast and Sara Gable Nichols; and his brother Pete Doss.
He is survived by: his wife Nora Doss of Winona, MS; his children, Connie Hollis of Tillatoba, MS, Sheila Cline of Alma, Ark and Alan Doss of Water Valley, MS; and his siblings, Barbara Morris of Randolph, MS and Steve Doss of Java, VA.. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great granchildren.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Parker Memorial Funeral Home (476 MS-9, Bruce, MS 38915). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel (476 MS-9, Bruce, MS 38915).
