It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Marie Gooden Greene of Winona, Mississippi, born in Kilmichael, Mississippi, who passed away on April 10, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Garvis and Evie Mae Perry Gooden; her husband Charles Wilburn Greene, Sr.; her son Charles Wilburn Greene, Jr.; and her siblings, Annie Gray, Eloise Pollard, Garvis Gooden, Jr. and Jimmy Gooden.
She is survived by: her children, Wesley Greene (Chelsea) of Winona, Becky Ables (Jason) of Winona and Melissa Varnes of Winona; her caregiver Randy Varnes of Winona; her sister Ann Dees of Winona; her grandchildren, Jason "AJ" Ables, Jr. (Mary Hannah), Colden Blake Greene (Sandy), Charles Jonathan Ables (Caitlin), John Conner Greene, Bristol Brianna "Sissy" Greene, Peyton Shields and Olivia Thompson; and her great grandchildren, Ava Claire Ables, Elizabeth Grace Ables, Colbren Bryce Ables, Madi Kate Ables and Taylor Lynn Marie Ables.
