She was predeceased by: her parents, Paige Shackael and Melvin Lee Montgomery Shackael; her husband Earl Glynn Montague; and her siblings, Annie Paige Shackael, Jean Britt and Buddy Shackael.
She is survived by: her sister Carolyn Jefcoat of Greenwood. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel (113 Liberty St, Winona, MS 38967). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.
