Charles E. Burton Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles E. Burton (Winona, Mississippi), born in Schlater, Mississippi, who passed away on September 3, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie H. Burton and Omie Johnson Burton; his wife Brenda Alford Burton; his sister Frances Aldridge; and his nephew Don Aldridge.

He is survived by: his son Rev. Steve E. Burton (Cindy) of Selma, AL; his grandson Rev. Derek Robertson; his daughter Kimberly Burton Steen (Terry) of Carmack; his grandchildren, Daniel Burton, Derek Robertson, Hannah Kling, Haley Burton and Mary Ellen Nance; his nieces, Janice Cummings and Melanie Huckaby; and his nephew Wayne Aldridge. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
