He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jesse and Marcell Gladys Denton; his former wife Ruby Russell Denton; his daughter Tina Marcell Denton; and his grandchild Carlyanna Denton.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Cook Denton of Winona; his children, Teresa Cummings of Winona, Patricia Ann Palmertree of Lubbock, TX and Bill Denton, Jr. (Charlene) of Philadelphia, MS; and his sister Brenda Smith of Keiser, AR. He is also survived by five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
