It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Opal Joyce Moore of Wiggins, Mississippi, who passed away on January 29, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman W. Fairley and Jamesetta Fairley (Breland); and her siblings, Webster, Angish, Arthur Clifton and Carolyn.
She is survived by: her siblings, Sharon McCarroll, Jamezena, McKinney Gray, Juliann Fairley, Marie "Nellie" Edwards (Ike) and Thorton "Hatchet" Fairley; her husband Calvin; her children, Calvin Andra Moore (Tangelia) and Joycelyn Andrette Whittaker (Irvin); her grandchildren, Jessica Whittaker, Christina Morgan, Lakeya Whittaker, Demetrius Whittaker, Julius Whittaker, Takira Bradley and Robert Williams; her great grandchildren, Jaylen Grove (Jessica), Ariel Bostic, Jabari Whittaker, Amylah Grover, Legend Bradley and Kingston Bradley; her goddaughter Quenesia Davis; and her nieces and nephews, Jackie Davis, Stephanie "Tootie" Gray, Artie, Keon Moore, Jackie Moffet, Tracy, Rudy Corbett, Sonya Warren, Tina, Phillip Davis, Tori Mote and Vernetta Jones. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
