He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Bond and Mamie Bond; his sister Helma Rae O'Neal; and his son-in-law Douglas Belton. He is survived by: his wife Edith; his daughters, Arlene McMurphy (Jody) and Michelle Clayton (Aaron); his grandchildren, DeAnna Morris (Brad), Michael Belton (Katelyn), Jenna Whisenant (Jason), Bubba Belton, Austin Parrish (Taylor) and Sawyer McMurphy (Danielle); and his great grandchildren, Hunter Belton, Chloe Morris, Jaxson Whisenant, Bentley Belton, James Whisenant, Michaela Belton, Makinsley Belton, Rowdey Parrish, Maverick Belton, Emerie McMurphy, Henlie McMurphy and Southern Belton.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sunflower Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
